Innovation Centers

The CRET Innovation Centers (IC) are designed like a private sector dental office.
The agreement- the dental school builds the IC and funds the staff. In return, CRET provides all the equipment and merchandise for the IC for free. There are six different operatories; fully furnished by six different manufacturers. Dental Students have the opportunity to learn and use the latest technology and provide feedback to the manufacturers via evaluation surveys.
Currently, CRET has three innovation centers open.

The Hugh Love Center for Research and Education in Technology at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, California was the first center opened August 22, 2012.
On September 23, 2013, The Dr. Charles Dunlap Innovation Center for Research and Education in Technology was opened at University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in Kansas City, Missouri.

The West Virginia University School of Dentistry opened the Dr. W. Robert Biddington Center for Dental Innovation on September 21, 2017, in Morgantown, WV.
